Extensive refurbishment of a residential property, including the conversion of a detached double garage into a self-contained living annexe via a new link structure. The project features high-end sash windows, energy-efficient external cladding, and advanced insulation systems throughout. Underfloor heating has been installed across all ground floor zones, with smart zoning for efficiency. The scheme blends traditional character with modern performance, delivering a high-spec, future-ready home suitable for multigenerational living or guest accommodation.

CCB was appointed main contractor for the knock down and rebuild of a disused Public House in the village of Sompting which is an area of natural beauty. 

It was short listed for an award with the Sussex Heritage trust for its use of Building materials and traditional methods in keeping within the area. 

This project involved the complete delivery of a bespoke timber frame new build dwelling, undertaken from initial groundworks through to final handover.

Chichester Carpentry & Building Ltd acted as principal contractor and were responsible for the full construction process, including foundations, timber frame erection, external envelope, and full internal fit-out. The design incorporates traditional detailing, with exposed timber framing, brickwork, clay tiled roofing, and a bespoke oak entrance porch.

Internally, the property features open-plan living spaces finished to a high specification, including bespoke oak staircases with integrated lighting, glass balustrading, engineered oak flooring, and a high-quality fitted kitchen. Careful coordination of structure, services, and finishes was required to achieve the architectural intent.
