We cannot rate James and his team enough, from start to finish they were fantastic. James is a very professional project manager with high standards. He maintained excellent communication with us throughout our project and was always available when quick decisions needed to be made or problems arose. He is a quick problem solver and will go out of his way to avoid any inconveniences for you as a customer. His team consistently exceeded our expectations, not only in the quality of their work but also in completing the project within an impressive timeframe. All of his team were professional from their branded uniform to the respect they showed towards our home the entire time. We are more than delighted with the finished product, and absolutely love our new space, we would highly recommend James and his team to anyone looking to do similar work on their home.

James undertook a substantial whole house refurb for us (inside and out). This included a wraparound extension, new roof and all the associated key trades. Every single team member was excellent. James has absolutely been standout from start to finish. I truly can't fault his workmanship, attention to detail or speed at getting the job done! James remained patient with us throughout despite my high level of indecisiveness. Original estimate came in on budget with no shock extras / hidden surprises. James remained transparent throughout the process. The site was kept nice and tidy throughout. There was an issue with the original downstairs layout due to an architect error, but James quickly took time to sit down with us and prepare a complete internal redesign, the output of which worked out significantly better than the original configuration. I can't recommend James enough!!!!!

James managed the process really well - correctly anticipating some issues that needed resolving and, together with his trusted and trustworthy team, focused on finding solutions. We recently had a small extension added to our home and were very impressed with the builder's service throughout the project. As this was our first time embarking on a major house improvement project we were nervous to start given we had a baby due during the construction but James made us feel very comfortable the whole way. Communication was clear and consistent from start to finish, and any questions or concerns were addressed promptly. Everyone, including sub-contractors, were professional, reliable and managed to get the job done quickly. One aspect we really appreciated was the flexibility they offered with payments, allowing us to pay in arrears, which helped with our budgeting. The quality of the work was excellent, and the whole process was handled smoothly and efficiently. We absolutely love the space they've created for us - it's made a big difference in our day to day living. We've already recommended James and team to several people!

Cogent worked on a challenging commercial space needing a bespoke approach and high end finish. A change of layout, plumbing, electrical work and the requirement to repurpose existing cabinetry was met with a can do attitude, offering elegant solutions to any issues encountered along the way. The continuity of the team ensured a smooth, timely completion within budget. A special mention to James who liaised brilliantly with the architect and myself, as well as with third party suppliers. His support, patience and communication made the process smooth and efficient and he was a pleasure to work with. The team at Cogent are professional, responsive and committed. I have worked on several projects like this and all had a long snagging list at the end, this didn’t have a single one; a testimony to the quality of work delivered.
