Des and team did a great job on my internal knock through works, kitchen and ground works. He was very good at communicating what was happening and when, and worked around my access and home working needs. He was very persistent in chasing down materials we needed and other individuals on the project. He was very accommodating to changes and worked with me to solve any problems that came up. The works all look great and he went the extra mile to close all points down and leave things looking spotless. He was great to have around and always calm and professional. He is now doing other works in my area.

We recently had D&A Brickworks complete a ground floor extension to create a kitchen diner, we couldn’t be happier with the result. Did a great job with taking down load bearing wall, removing old conservatory, blocking up two doorways and putting in a patio. D&A commenced our project 7th September 2023 after meeting / vetting five potential builders the owner was extremely knowledgeable and completely understood the logistics of our project. Throughout the project we were consulted of the next steps including D&A had resources of Plumbers, Electricians, Tiler, Plasters we were so confident throughout the project we requested additional work including a planning, excavations, building of large Garden patio. We are so pleased with the project we are now contemplating of a project complete makeover of our lounge removing plaster, ceilings, self levelling of floor, installation of New appointed Fire Place this as a true vote of confidence we have in D&A Brickwork / building.

I needed a builder to: provide a patio for our summer house; to lay paving around our raised beds; and to repair a 15-year-old patio in our back garden. I contacted three builders including Des (who I found via Checkatrade) Of the 3, he was the only one who focused on my needs right from the outset. Once he'd checked that he understood them, he started to mark out the ground and levels, and checked that this was what I wanted. Within a couple of days he provided a fixed price quote - but emphasised that things such as the weather could affect the timeline. Thankfully, it didn't. Des and Steve arrived on time every day, and worked solidly each day. Even when we went on holiday, our key holder gave us daily updates. She arrived at different times each day, and commented that they were always working and, even though we weren't there, they always tidied up at the end of each day. We're exceptionally pleased with the results. We will use them again, and we recommend them unreservedly.

Cannot fault Des and Steve - Did a Garage conversion for us to create a bedroom and utility room to the rear and also driveway. From start to finish they have delivered on their pronises. 8-9 hour days every day, really happy with the results.. Started on time, completed on time and on budget. We weren't planning on getting Driveway done, but decided to do this once the Garage conversion was completed, and they got this completed in 5 days for us. Total work took about 5 weeks from start to finish. Everyone that has seen it has been very complimentary of their work, would 100% recommend these guys for all of your building needs. Reliable honest and good value for money.
