This four-bedroom semi-detached home in Hemel Hempstead was fully transformed, with our team managing the project from start to finish. The property was modernised inside and out — featuring new roof insulation, energy-efficient windows, full rewiring, and a reconfigured layout with four bathrooms. Externally, we added a new driveway and prepared the roof for solar panels, improving both sustainability and appearance. Completed in just 12 weeks in July 2025, the result is a bright, efficient, and contemporary family home.

This new-build project in Gerrards Cross began in December 2024 and is progressing on schedule for completion in June 2026. From the outset, it’s showcased our expertise in complex groundwork, coordination, and problem-solving. Despite challenges like uneven terrain and limited access, our team planned meticulously to manage deliveries, excavations, and safety. Early works included diverting Thames Water infrastructure and completing specialist piling and foundations, where we also resolved unexpected water ingress. Since then, we’ve installed ridge beams, structural steel, brickwork, and utility services, with beam-and-block flooring laid across both floors. The next phase includes roof installation, electrics, plumbing, and fitting windows and doors.

Our clients in Croxley Green wanted to make better use of their existing space by converting an underused loft into a practical and stylish new area. The two-bedroom, one-bathroom home was transformed into a three-bedroom layout with a refurbished family bathroom and a new ensuite. To overcome limited loft space, our team proposed installing a Megaflo cylinder within the eaves, freeing up room for the ensuite without reducing bedroom size. Design & Build Builders managed the entire project—from design and engineering to construction and approvals—completing it smoothly and on schedule in just seven weeks.
