Garage conversion completed in June 2025 for a customer near Reading, Berkshire.

The customer wasn't using the garage space, and it was a cold and poorly insulated integral garage space that had in her words, had become a dumping ground. After a big clear-out, the customer decided to convert the garage into a downstairs room and future-proof her home by adding a downstairs shower and toilet. This room might eventually become a bedroom, but at the moment will be used as a snug and a space for her to shower the dog after long muddy walks. 

The room is now well insulated, the door from the kitchen has been shut off, making the kitchen warmer and more functional, a better layout of space, there is a new door entering from the hallway, providing easy reach of the show on wet and muddy days.

Completed in May 2025, this fabulous single-storey rear and side extension opened out the property to create an enormous kitchen/dining and living space for this client.

We also carried out an internal remodelling for this customer, and this meant there was a shower room and utility added to this ground-floor extension.

One of the main features of this project was these large fixed windows looking out over the garden area and above the kitchen sink space, bringing enormous amounts of additional light into this new space.

This was a large internal remodelling project for a family in Amersham, they needed a more functional kitchen, utility, dining area and also a downstairs shower.

Stunning single-storey side and rear extension in Caversham, working with an architectural practice from Hook whom we have worked with before. The property had an internal renovation, including a small extension at the front of the property. The main extension provided a new kitchen, dining and living space.

This was a rear extension replacing an older lean-to, the extension was to provide a larger kitchen, both the extension and the main house rear windows were replaced with bi-folds, the family bathroom was upgraded and there was a new lootility added. This project was fully managed by Elivate working alongside their architect.

This was a rear single-storey extension with a part-double on the rear to enable the couple to expand their bedroom and make it an ensuite. A new shower room was added downstairs (to future proof) along with a utility room to house the new washer and dryer as well as a large kitchen living family area. The house was fully decorated, new doors, a new roof and garden landscaping.

This client interviewed 5 builders for this wonderful double-storey extension and internal renovation and in their words, they were relieved to meet with Mark from Elivate, he was not just a builder, he was clearly running a good construction business

Once the decision was made to use Elivate, Berni and Craig (Project Director) began building that collaborative relationship and Berni and Paul both commented there were hundreds of decisions that had to be made throughout the build, from simple ones like checking on the position of a bedside light socket, to utilizing spaces better, building hidden cupboards, and making the most of steels and creating shelving areas”

This was a fabulous project extending the rear of a terraced property into the garden and adding onto the side of the property at the rear. This has created a significantly larger kitchen and dining area, opening up the new extension roof with glass and adding large glass windows to the rear of the property. The bathroom was remodelled and a new boiler fitted with a stunning new bathroom suite.

The garden was landscaped and new patio area created along with the front of the property hard landscaped.

The client fitted their own kitchen in this project but we have returned since to take these completed photos.

Although this project was completed structurally in 2023 and the client moved into the new additional space immediately, the landscaping took place in 2024, when the weather improved. This is a single-storey side extension with 3 new rooms, an expanded kitchen from the main house, a new lounge/play area and a study (home-working space) The client wanted to extend the garden area to the front of the property and lay new faux grass lawn, along with new porcelain floor tiles at the rear and to the side of the property.

This is a side double-storey extension which replaced a single-storey side extension, taking this 3-bedroom house into a 4-bedroom home with a large master bedroom with an en-suite.

The ground floor created a large open-plan kitchen living area, which bifold doors out onto the garden area.

This client owned the property but has decided to move back in, prior to moving in, worked with the team at Elivate on a design and build complete home renovation. This included a new kitchen and bathrooms, a new extension to replace the old conservatory, full replacement of doors and windows and a front and rear garden landscaping. We have worked with this client a couple of times before, and that the only reason we took on his project in Croydon, as this is outside our usual catchment area.

This property had been let out for 20 years and the family had decided to renovate the house, so their children could live thereduring their study time and at a London University.

This was one of those projects that just kept giving us challenges with some structural Health and Safety issues that had to be resolved before we could finish the internal renovation works.

We handed back a new home that our client could be secure in the knowledge his children will be safe and happy during their time in London and that the property can be re-rented at the end of that time if needed.

This client was already using the loft as a room, but wanted to expand the living space, increase the height of the ceilings, add in a shower room, replace the roof and add additional light with a new larger Velux window. 

The original loft space needed to be completely stripped out, with new insulation added and a new steel to support the floor. We worked with the client and the architect to provide a new lighter, better shaped room, with an en-suite in the new dormer.

This was a standard 3-bedroom semi-detached property in Maidenhead and we worked with our client to create her dream home, adding on a 2-storey wraparound extension, providing additional bedrooms, new bathrooms and opening up the kitchen, living and dining area to create a modern spacious light living family space.

This internal renovation included a total rewiring of the house, bringing in water directly from the mains supply, as well as a total replaster and a brand-new kitchen, new flooring downstairs and sanding the bedroom floor, a new Velux in the loft and fully reboarded, as well as a new patio area being laid in the garden. This home renovation project was completed in January 2023 and we worked along side an amazing architect during the renovation. The most interesting part of this project was opening up the kitchen ceiling to create this stunning vaulted ceiling, this was not part of the original plans, but when the team started work in this area, we discovered the opportunity to create a feature ceiling and really open up the space and light in that room.
