About Us.
Our business was created after Carl's own experience of dealing with unprofessional, below standard, and incompetent companies and contractors, who failed to deliver what they promised, whilst never fully understanding their clients requirements. Our market research, and some of our projects, where we have taken over from other contractors, have shown the pitfalls when choosing the wrong contractor, and the mental health issues it can cause.
With this in mind, G2 Construction and Consultancy was formed to deliver projects for our clients and collaborators, with a clear vision, mission, purpose and values.
Our projects are delivered with the highest levels of workmanship and craftmanship, executed using strategic and well thought out plans, programmes, and specifications, with clear concise detailed breakdowns and simplistic easy to use information, incorporating contingencies to minimise uncertainty of additional and unforeseen works, with projects delivered and executed by trained and competent professional personal.

Extension Inspected for becoming a Master Builder with the FMB

To start, a temporary scaffolding tin roof was placed over the property as the electrical and gas services were in the garage. Once the temporary roof was complete, the existing roof tiles were removed and placed to one side for using again once our construction consultants completed the new roof. The existing rafters followed opening the working area.
To take the brickwork up to the 1st floor, G2 had to excavate two padstone foundations for the steelwork to be based upon and fixed to. Once excavated and the concrete set, a goalpost steel frame was installed, providing the based for our front elevation brickwork to sit on. Our brickwork then followed suit, with a new front window for which will be a new family bathroom.

You can see the before and after pictures of what was a tired and dated end of terrace property, with an unusual layout of downstairs bedrooms and living spaces upstairs. The property was extended to the front with an additional washroom, and extended bedrooms. To complement the already installed anthracite windows, a white monocouhe render was applied by us giving a more updated and modern feel.
