Garnet Construction Ltd is a construction company based in Harlow, Essex, with over 10 years of experience in the building industry. We specialise in loft conversions, all types of extensions and complete renovations.
We always ensure that the design and construction of all our projects is the best it can be, and are obsessed with perfection and the finishing details. Our director and founder Jordan Ryan began working in the construction industry in 2004 when he embarked on an apprenticeship in carpentry. Not long after, he pursued a full-time career with a loft conversion company in Essex, where he led and completed many successful conversions. Due to his keen eye for detail and desire to be the best in his trade, Jordan soon became a project manager at a young age, completing multiple projects at a time with a team of 6 workers. All the trades he uses are part of a tried and tested network of reliable workers.
Jordan’s career has spanned a number of different companies where he has assumed positions of project and site management, and has proved his skill and commitment to his clients again and again. He is proud of the foundation of recommendations he has built and has experience in managing jobs from single clients to managing large-scale developments of 10 plus properties. After 10 years Jordan Decided to finally fulfill what he was destined to do and founded Garnet Construction Ltd.

Rear Dormer Loft Conversion With En-Suite - Hitchin, Hertfordshire

This project was a standard Dormer loft conversion. The dormer is the full width of the house, which although is maybe less aesthetically pleasing than some other forms of loft, it does allow for a lot more usable space on the inside. As a result, we were able to fit 2 good sized bedrooms with a spacious shower room.
As per our clients' request, we used a warm deck roof system which adds a lot more U-value to the home. This is achieved by laying the insulation over the top of the flat roof joists. They also had LED spot lights installed, which use only 25%-30% of the energy and last 15-25 times longer than traditional bulbs.

Rear Dormer Loft Conversion - Newbury Park
