The goal for this project was to replace a dated, inefficient conservatory with a high-performance single-storey side extension in Brislington, Bristol. Because the property sits on a prominent corner plot, we managed the full planning application, securing approval in just 5 weeks by focusing on a sustainable construction method.

As a full Design and Build firm, we delivered this in two clear stages: Phase 1 Design (including 3D modelling and planning) and Phase 2 Construction.

The result is a space that is 25% more energy efficient than standard UK new builds. We didn't just build a room; we focused on thermal comfort, air quality, and acoustic performance. It’s a low-energy, light-filled extension that stays warm in the winter and cool in the summer, significantly reducing the client's running costs.

We are currently on-site near Bath, working on a comprehensive barn conversion for a local farm. The project involves taking a traditional agricultural structure and transforming it into a high-spec, habitable living space.

This is a full-scale renovation and change-of-use project. We are working closely with the client to preserve the character of the original barn while integrating modern sustainable systems and structural reinforcements. Our team is managing everything from the initial structural assessment to the specialised internal fit-out required for rural buildings.

For this project in Bristol, the goal was to significantly increase the house's footprint to accommodate 4 more bedrooms for this HMO. We were brought in to deliver a two-storey house extension, reconfiguring the entire layout to create a spacious four-bedroom addition.

The build was a full-scale construction project. Our team handled everything from the initial groundworks and foundation pouring to building the air cavity brick and block walls. We managed the complex roof extension to tie the new structure into the existing house, followed by the installation of new windows, doors, and a complete internal fit-out.

The result is a seamless transition between the old and new parts of the house, doubling the bedroom capacity and modernising the living space. We completed the full structural build and renovation in 12 weeks, delivering the project on time and within the £73,000 budget.
