We were immediately impressed Barry’s knowledge of what would be required to carry out the project. He was approachable, friendly, quickly grasping what we wanted, making useful and constructive suggestions many of which we included. Any queries Barry answered immediately, visiting regularly prior to and during the project and introduced his main workmen before commencement. His estimate was comprehensive with no unpleasant surprises. When quite unforeseen additional work had to be carried out, we were consulted, and a revised estimate was given for us to consider and agree. The building work affected a large proportion of our home, but the team ensured there was the least disruption as possible and were very tidy. They were punctual, worked solidly throughout the day, polite, courteous and easy to talk to and a pleasure to have in our home. In fact, we were confident enough to go on holiday for two weeks. We were sent regular updates with photos; from these we saw the kitchen units had the wrong internal colour. We contacted Barry and he project managed and the cupboards were replaced. He did similar when required throughout the project. There were a couple of issues raised by us, but Barry and the team didn’t give up until we were entirely satisfied. His original price quote remained unchanged. The transformation is beautiful and achieved all we desired. We would recommend and use the company again and their strapline “one call does it all” is so true.

We are repeat customers of GHP and as usual, they have done an exceptional job. We contacted Barry worried about our roof that was showing signs of damage including crumbling mortar on the chimney. They guys went up and took pictures to show us exactly what was going on so we decided to get the roof replaced. Barry explained what would be needed and showed us tile options. We were kept up to date with how the job was going. Despite awful weather, it was completed promptly and very professionally, it looks wonderful. The costing Barry gave us initially explained where there could be extras as they wouldn’t know about until the old roof came off. The lads cleared everything up and washed down afterward and we experienced minimum upheaval which was great. I highly recommend this team of professionals and it’s nice to see them bringing youngsters into the trades.
