We can thoroughly recommend Glyn Jones Ltd who have just completed a complex storm damage repair project for us. From the first point of contact to arrange for a quote (which was when we knew we were in safe hands) to the final clean-up, everything has been extremely smooth running. The job required a number of different trades, both internal & external to Gwyn Jones Ltd., and the timetable was co-ordinated superbly by Vaughan who also had to juggle the schedule around weather conditions. The entire team of experts who were involved were extremely competent, conscientious and courteous and despite the job being in a hard to access area (which they created innovative solutions for), they all completed their work with a smile! Excellent company - they attended the next day to quote for the work, and the day after that to complete it. The work was done very well by polite, efficient and competent builders. I would have no reservation about employing them in future or in recommending them to others. They are not the cheapest, but if you want work done swiftly to a high standard, go no further.

I am very happy with all aspects of the work carried out by Gwyn Jones's team and the results have far exceeded my expectations. I was particularly impressed by the skills and attitude of the workers who approached their tasks with competence and determination. The project was complex, involving structural work, external insulation and re-rendering together with roofing alterations and work on the chimney stack. Finally the decking on the car port was replaced and much improved. There was much more: a new gate, new and refurbished windows the block paving in front of the house was relaid, new aluminium guttering was installed all round and the exterior of the house was painted. I could go on, but let me finish by thanking the team and saying I would confidently recommend Glyn Jones.

Another successfully completed scheme completed by Glyn Jones - this one was particularly challenging after major storm damage and toppling of two very large trees on the property causing significant damage to roof, driveway and boundary wall. Glyn Jones's team performed particularly well with the variety of challenges and provided a high quality repairs and replacements - well done.

The work was completed to a very good standard: a complex task requiring stripping of low-level groundfloor plaster to the brickwork, with ancillary skirtings, radiators, sockets etc, then making all good after specialist damp-proofing work. They even replaced the carpets and tidied the garden! The only small issue was difficulty contacting by telephone, but the office is responsive to email and the estimating, deposit and billing processes are straightforward. The cost was substantial but reasonable for the nature and complexity of the tasks undertaken.
