Ian Henderson of Hende Building Services was named most Heavenly Builder in the North West region at the FMB Master Builer Awards 2017.
Ian Henderson and his team have a proven track record of excellent client relations and the winning project, a large single storey extension in Cheadle Hulme, was no different. Ian’s client was eight months pregnant with her second child and his deconstruction and rebuild of the home was so carefully planned and executed that the family was able to remain living in their home. This award consolidates Ian and Hende Building Services' national Heavenly Builder win at the previous Master Builder Awards in 2015.

Best Apprentice Award - 2019 Master Builder Awards for the North West

Hende Building Services were the North West’s 2019 Master Builder Award winners in the category of Apprentice of the Year.
 
Overview
 
We are nominating Charlie for Apprentice of the year in recognition of his consistent commitment to his Apprenticeship, learning journey and to the whole team here at Hende Building. Both staff and clients have much praise for him and he strives every day to learn and grow as a Joiner and young man in the construction environment. His time keeping and attendance are great and Charlie brings a lot to our business. He is a valuable member of our team and has learned many great skills, knowledge and behaviours and will often offer new ideas which he has learned to the senior staff on site. Hende Building are extremely keen to grow and establish new apprentices into the construction industry and Charlie has been a great case study of this. We would like Charlie to continue his learning journey through NVQ Level 3 and beyond and hopefully in the not too distant future he will begin mentoring his own apprentice.
 
Judge’s Comments
 
Good attendance and commitment. Excellent work on complex roofing systems. Showing really good progress, excellent work ethic. Listens watches and learns quickly. Star in the making.

Single Storey Extension - Winner of Heavenly Builder at the FMB North West Master Builder Awards 2017

Hende Building Services undertook a large, single storey extension for this property in Cheadle Hulme, creating a new kitchen/dining/living area and a new bathroom. Four skylights and French doors fill the area with natural light. We also completed landscaping work and installed a new wooden decking area.
