“It is now almost exactly a year since Imperial Framing came and demolished my old, dilapidated, eyesore of a garage and then replaced it with this beautiful cedar wood structure with a lovely pitched and tiled roof. Our brief was to have something in keeping with our house which is a cedar wood Colt bungalow with brick foundation and tiled roof. It is a very good match and has been constantly admired by all our friends and visitors. To have a firm prepared to take on everything – sort out planning permission, demolish the old, erect the new and sort out the drive which got a bit messed up with all the heavy machinery that had to be used – was a great boon. “In 2018 we invested in a replacement garage at our home. In keeping with our surroundings we decided on an oak framed triple garage, fully enclosed. We had used Imperial Framing previously on a rear porch and were impressed with the quality of their work. It wasn't a difficult decision to appoint Imperial Framing for the garage work particularly as they offered the best value estimate and used experienced work men to carry out the demolition of the existing garage and complete the ground works in advance of the oak frame erection, which Lewis completed himself. Imperial Framing were also able to submit and manage the Planning Application process so essentially it was a one-stop-shop. We were not disappointed with the quality of the work, in particular Lewis' attention to detail and his use of traditional construction techniques for the oak frame. The erection of the substantial oak frame was flawless. Completion of the cladding and tiled roof followed smoothly. Overall, we have been completely satisfied with the experience and would recommend Imperial Framing to carry out a complete range of oak framing work.”

I would so totally and utterly recommend Lewis and his team from Imperial Framing. This summer they built my family a stunning 3 bay Oak Barn Garage with a room on the top and we are extremely delighted with it. As this is Lewis’ own Company , right from the word go we knew he had passion and vision and an overwhelming desire for a brilliant end result. He was meticulous at the planning stage, walking us through each and every step and importantly was very detailed about the costs. He would offer us solutions , alternatives and valuable cost saving solutions. We felt safe and comfortable with his proposals. The attention to detail at the planning stage without doubt removed a huge amount of stress during the build. Once the build had commenced the team were dedicated and hard working each and every day. Lewis would keep me updated about the schedule. Lewis, Chris and Sam are the most lovely people to have around the place it was sad to see them go ! Tidy, neat and meticulous with detail and finish on whatever they did. At the end of the project Lewis ensured that everything was completed as per the plan and left the site clear of all project build materials. Without doubt Lewis’ work ethic , desire for perfection and the want to ‘over’ meet Customer expectations made this build a dream and we can’t thank him and the boys enough and would shout from the roof tops to spread the good reputation of this company!
