We have had a garage and workshop in our back garden for many years, but as time has gone by, the building has become too small and in need of some reinvention. We wanted to rethink the plot to enable us to use it as a small residential property instead. Joe Clarke was recommended to us on a local residents online group by a previous client of his. We met Joe as well as 2 others builders and it was obvious immediately that Joe has the passion and vision to make our ideas a reality. Throughout the build, Joe has listened to each idea and kept us well informed about the progress. Any problems were solved quickly and efficiently. Joe is the ultimate professional. He works incredibly hard as has has each of the teams that worked with him on the build. The work ethic of everyone involved has been unquestionable. Joe has ensured that every stage of the build has been completed to a very high standard - incorporating each and every change that we have suggested. The build was completed in good time and it is everything that we hoped for. The finished build has surpassed every expectation and is truly excellent. Joe and team have just completed a side, rear and loft extension to our 1930's semi which has completely transformed our house and we are delighted with the results. Right from the start Joe was extremely well organised providing a clear itemised quote and a set of quite challenging timelines for the build which was not only met but exceeded. His team are excellent - both friendly and hardworking and left the site very tidy each day. Communication, planning and organisation are an obvious strength with the project progressing at pace and the right people on site at the right time. It was my good fortune that my partner spotted Joe and his team starting work on the building of a large house on Broad Lane Coventry. I watched the work progress and was well impressed with the build. I would like to share my good fortune with anyone who would be interested. First day I could not believe the number of men that were on site and the speed in which they prepared the bungalow for a complete refit. The quantity and quality of his team were there for all to see they worked like clockwork, again I was well impressed not only with the work but the tidiness, they left the place clean every night. In spite of unforeseen damp problems, needing a new floor in the bedroom and condensation damaging the plaster (the bungalow had been left empty for long periods of time). Joe and his merry men completely restructured the bungalow, split 36ft lounge into lounge and front bedroom, converted back bedroom and kitchen into kitchen/dinner. Enlarged the bathroom and completely modernised it. All walls and artex ceilings re-plastered. Utility room modernised to second toilet and wash room with washing machine and dryer. All in all a completely new modern bungalow, could not be happier. Great job thanks to Joe and team, regards Graham Mack. Joe has been carrying out work for me and my brother since 2012. They have carried out numerous large projects including renovating an old office building on the parade in Leamington into 7 flats with 43 bedrooms. Joe and his team carry out our general maintenance and upgrades our portfolio on a yearly basis by modernising our properties (this varies from brickwork and roof repairs to new kitchens and bathrooms, the whole lot!) Joe has always been reliable, efficient and has a great team behind him to ensure works are carried out quickly and to a high standard. Very tidy workers also. Would highly recommend. - Mr J
Joe and his team did a brilliant job for us. Joe said the work would take two weeks and that is how long he and his team were on site. Everyone turned up to do their bit on the designated days and Joe project managed everything, even down to finding the correct flooring for our needs. Our home was left clean and tidy by all members of the team and we would not hesitate to have them back for future projects. We have told all our friends and family members that Joe and his team are excellent value for money- We wouldn't use anyone else from now on! - Beverley
