A complete re-build of a chimney carried out in Bedford by the JSB team, the original chimney was becoming unsafe and was leaning into the roof of the house, so it needed to be taken down and re-built… We also re-pointed the gable end of the property in traditional lime mortar… great transformation and a very happy customer! Brick & Stone boundary walls completely restored on this beautiful property in Grendon, we re-pointed in traditional lime mortar, replaced perished stones where required and re-laid all of the Staffordshire blue coping stones to cap the wall off giving the walls a fresh new look.

JSB Brick & Stone was awarded the opportunity to rebuild this blown limestone retaining wall via the parish council in Grendon. We cleared the site and salvaged as much of the original stone as we possibly could, then began to rebuild the wall in a traditional lime mortar with new stone while mixing in as much of the original as possible. Installing new drainage holes to prolong the life of the re-built section.

We have been awarded the task of replacing badly perished ironstone to this lovely listed cottage in Hardingstone, Northamptonshire. The team will be removing the old stone, replacing with new sawn six sides ironstone, all tooled by hand on site. Then repointing required areas with traditional lime mortar. 

🧱🏡 A landscaping job the team have completed over the past few weeks, a lot of earth removed, battling the great British weather and one of the lads being hospitalised. We got the job complete, and have a very happy customer. 🏡🧱 A recent single story extension completed for a lovely family in Riseley, Bedfordshire. The new extension has completely opened up the back of the property incorporating a large kitchen living area bursting with modern features. We can’t wait to see the finished product once the kitchen and internal feature walls are complete.🧱🏡
