This project involved the refurbishment of an existing set of front entrance steps to create a more modern and durable finish.

Rather than a full rebuild, the existing structure was retained and overclad using new facing brickwork, helping to keep costs down while still achieving a high-quality result. The brickwork was carefully installed with mitred corners to create clean, sharp edges and a more refined appearance.

New dark porcelain treads were fitted to the steps, providing a durable, non-slip surface that contrasts well with the warm tones of the brickwork. The planters were also finished with detailed brickwork to tie the whole entrance together.

The end result is a clean, modern front entrance that significantly improves the overall look of the property while maintaining long-term durability.

This project involved the removal of an existing damaged boundary wall and timber fencing, followed by the construction of new brick piers and installation of new fence panels.

We carefully dismantled the original structure and rebuilt two new brick piers to provide a solid and long-lasting framework. New full-height timber fence panels were then installed between the piers, creating a clean, secure, and visually improved boundary.

All work was completed with a focus on durability, alignment, and a neat finish, ensuring the new installation both complements the property and withstands exposure to the elements.

This project involved the installation of a new patio area using reclaimed slabs, forming part of a larger garden transformation.

The work was carried out over an existing concrete base, which required careful preparation and adjustment to achieve suitable levels and drainage. Due to the existing high point running through the length of the slab, the patio had to be carefully set out to create a consistent and effective fall for water runoff.

The use of reclaimed materials required additional care in selection and laying to achieve a consistent finish, while maintaining a practical and durable surface.

This forms the first phase of the project, with further works to follow including a herringbone brick pathway and raised patio area.

Two new extensions on this property. One two storey brickwork extension we built from footing to plate and one single storey timber extension that we did the footings and splash course on. Lovely blue bricks with black mortar used on the splash. We also moved some windows and doors, renewed the tile cills, and added the porch as well as some internal alterations. We love projects like this.

This project involved the restoration and repointing of the front elevation of a period property, including a feature brick arch above the entrance.

The existing mortar joints had deteriorated significantly due to weather exposure, requiring careful grinding out and preparation before repointing.

We carried out the work using a lime-based mortar to ensure compatibility with the original brickwork, allowing the building to breathe and preventing future damage.

Particular attention was given to the arched entrance, where clean, consistent jointing was essential to maintain the character of the feature brickwork.

The finished result provides a sharp, uniform appearance while protecting the property for years to come.

This project involved the construction of a rear single-storey extension along with a new curved (radius) wall to the front of the property.

At the rear, we completed all blockwork and structural elements for the extension, including forming openings and preparing for installation of doors and roof structure. We also installed new leadwork to ensure a watertight finish where the extension meets the existing building.

To the front of the property, we built a curved boundary wall with a smooth rendered finish and stone capping, creating a clean and modern appearance that follows the shape of the driveway.

This type of work requires careful setting out and attention to detail, particularly on the radius wall to ensure a consistent curve and high-quality finish.
