The company was founded by Luke Chanter, a local man who was born and raised on Exmoor. The business is now well established and provides a range of building services across Exmoor, West Somerset, Mid Devon and North Devon.

Although clients can engage LC Building Contractors Ltd in any capacity, the company specialises in taking responsibility for the whole job and providing a ‘one stop shop’ on its contracts. Luke has good personal contacts with all the local tradesmen involved on a typical building project and knows that scheduling work on site between various trades is a key source of worry to customers as well as additional costs. If engaged on this basis, Luke personally works and supervises every contract with clients having one point of contact.
