A complete renovation of a dated 19th century house in one of the most popular quiet residential suburbs in Cardiff. Our brief was to transform a much-loved but outdated home into a striking, contemporary property that fully meets local planning requirements. The scope included modernising the existing façade, reconfiguring the internal layout to improve functionality, and adding a new second floor to accommodate a spacious master bedroom with en-suite.

The final design featured four spacious bedrooms, a rear extension for an open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area, and a full attic conversion creating a master suite with a private sauna.

A garden annex added an outdoor kitchen, entertainment area, gym, and hot tub, while a new driveway and boundary wall provided off-street parking and privacy.

High-end finishes throughout delivered a vibrant, modern home with standout appeal, combining luxury with practicality and accessibility.

Prior to renovation, the home featured expansive accommodation including five en-suite double bedrooms, multiple reception rooms, and a detached double garage. Despite its size and potential, the interior was outdated and lacked cohesion. The gardens, while spacious, were underutilised and the overall flow of the property didn’t make the most of its stunning setting.

We completely stripped the property back to its shell and undertook a full renovation inside and out. The transformation focused on creating a refined, high-specification family home, blending classic craftsmanship with modern luxury.
