A builder you can trust, Oliver Wilding the owner and director of Marptree, is a CIOB accredited construction manager with over 10-year experience in construction and related industries. His father was a property developer, so he grew up involved in construction and has developed a practical and academic skill set which is perfect for his current role as project manager. 

Innovative in our practises and delivery of every project, we are willing to work with architects and clients to take on new techniques and methods to suit the ever-changing industry.

Ground floor refurbishment & extension

A complete refurbishment of the ground floor with large single storey extension to the rear. The project features impressive floor to ceiling bi-folding doors, a corner window and a stylish wood burner with a slate hearth.
Working alongside an independent architect the construction stage was completed in under 5 months.

19th Century Conversion

A contemporary and characterful conversion of a 19th century stable, providing 2 bed residential accommodation over two floors. The design purposely retained as much of the existing masonry as possible, with two side flank elevations remaining largely unchanged from the exterior. The lead clad dormers reduce the visual impact on the roof, while providing much needed head room in the attic. The side extension was deliberately sympathetic to the existing building, using either reclaimed and locally sourced Bath stone.

This was a design and build contract where construction was undertaken in 6 months.
