A single storey rear orangery with feature roof lantern created a large open-plan kitchen/diner. The loft was converted into a bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Our master carpenter built a beautiful bespoke porch. Internally we fitted bespoke coving, created a playroom, cinema room and replaced the staircase. Every room was painted by our expert decorating team.

We added a dressing room, an ensuite bathroom, an additional bedroom, large kitchen and utility room. We also replaced the bathroom and added a ground floor WC.
We completely rewired the house and installed a new, energy-efficient Baxi combi boiler and log burner. Finally we redecorated and landscaped the garden. Read less

Under-floor heating was fitted in the ground floor area, and aluminium bifolding doors completing the dining area.
The first floor area featured an additional bedroom with ensuite bathroom. We fitted grey aluminium windows to match the bifolds and finished the exterior with white painted render. Read less

We chose Nick to build our extension because on our first meeting he understood what our aims were and made valuable suggestions on how to achieve them. Nick and his team worked on our kitchen extension for nearly four months. During that time we had no complaints about them personally or the work which they produced. The site at the end of each day was always left as clean and tidy as possible. Nick has a very good team of men and employed specialists for work that they were unable to do which was always to the highest standard. The alterations that we have had done have changed our life style for the better and we, our family and friends, very much enjoy using our new kitchen extension. We have no hesitation in recommending MBS, as the work they have done has far exceeded our expectations. Thank you Nick.

Nick and his team have done an amazing job. We have been thrilled with the entire service from start to finish, all the guys have been so helpful, kind, professional and tidy! They have worked so hard during the build and always given advice or recommendations and worked with us to ensure we got the most fabulous space that suited our family. Our new kitchen extension is just beautiful and the project was so well managed due to the experience and knowledge of MBS. I would most definitely recommend them and will certainly be asking them to return when we start work on the next project.

The MBS team were a pleasure from start to finish of the building work they did for us. We used them to renovate our whole downstairs which involved moving several walls, creating an open plan living space with bi-fold doors and laying a patio at the rear of the property. Nick was open and honest about the process from the start and any issues that occurred were overcome pragmatically and quickly as the build took place. The quality of work was excellent and we were delighted with the final result. I wouldn’t hesitate to use MBS for future work and have already recommended them to several of my friends and family who are currently using them.

We used MBS to add a large two storey extension on to our rather ugly looking, 1970’s, three bedroom house and remodel the interior in the process to create a really contemporary open plan living space. The results were fantastic and the house is now totally unrecognisable. Nick and his team worked quickly and cleanly but it is their eye for design and attention to detail that set them apart from other contractors we have used in past. On a number of occasions Nick suggested practical improvements to the architects plans that improved the flow and feel of the property which allows us to use the space in a style that suits our family. Their ‘no problems, only solutions’ mantra throughout the build meant that the whole experience was stress free and because of this we asked MBS back again a to add a porch to the front of the house and remodel the hallway. Our house now looks like a modern, bespoke designed, new build and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome and the work that MBS have done for us.

We think your guys have done an excellent job. They are lovely, friendly and reliable and always leave our home clean and tidy. Paul does a brilliant job managing and coordinating his team and all jobs are completed to a high standard. The conversion is a much better use of space so we are really pleased.
