Green Oak Framed Extension – Grade II Listed Property, The Crown Estate, Eltham (SE9)

This bespoke green oak framed extension was crafted for a Grade II listed property on The Crown Estate in Eltham. Designed to sit seamlessly alongside the original architecture, it provides a modern, light-filled living space while showcasing the beauty and strength of traditional oak framing.

Working closely with The Royal Borough of Greenwich, conservation teams, and The Crown Estate, we delivered a project that combined precision craftsmanship with the highest conservation standards. Every detail was carefully considered to respect the building’s historic character while creating a timeless addition that enhances the home for generations to come.

A contemporary extension to this grand Victorian villa within the Dulwich Estate, including a full-width rear addition and the infill of the dual hipped roof to create a luxurious master suite. The build required precise structural alterations and close coordination to integrate seamlessly with the existing Victorian fabric. High-performance glazing, bespoke finishes, and careful detailing ensured the contemporary design was delivered to the highest standard while respecting the character of the original property.

This property in the heart of Dulwich Village underwent a full renovation, including a new loft conversion and a single-storey rear extension with lowered floor levels to maximise ceiling height and light. The rear extension features full-width sliding doors opening onto the landscaped garden, creating a seamless link between inside and out. 

Internally, the layout was reconfigured to provide a bespoke kitchen, dining, and family space, finished to a high specification with premium materials and detailing. The new loft conversion adds further bedroom and bathroom accommodation, while all bathrooms were completed with contemporary fixtures and precision tiling. This high-end project combines modern living with period character, delivered with exceptional workmanship and attention to detail.

Victorian Villa Extension & Refurbishment

This project delivered a ground floor extension for a new kitchen and utility space, together with extensive remodelling and refurbishment across the ground and first floors and the garden.

The property is a grand detached Victorian villa, known for its ornate metal veranda and decorative red and yellow brickwork. While the garden elevation was more restrained, our extension carefully reintroduced elements of the street-facing façade, ensuring harmony between old and new.

The build demanded a high level of workmanship and attention to detail, from the precision brickwork to the bespoke joinery and finishes. The result is a seamless blend of traditional character and modern living, showcasing both the heritage of the property and the craftsmanship of our team.

Eltham Park, SE9 – Single Storey Extension & Internal Remodelling

This project involved the construction of a single-storey rear extension, complete with a bespoke kitchen and a series of internal alterations to reconfigure the ground floor. The new extension, finished with exposed structural detailing and high-spec glazing, creates a bright, modern living space that connects seamlessly with the garden. 

Internally, a bespoke kitchen was installed with precision, including integrated appliances, a feature island, and careful finishes that highlight the craftsmanship throughout. Additional internal remodelling ensured the new spaces flow naturally into the existing home, balancing contemporary design with the property’s character. 

The result is a functional, light-filled extension built to a high standard of workmanship, blending practicality with refined detail.

Victorian Townhouse Extension & Refurbishment

This project delivered a series of carefully built extensions to reorganise the ground floor of a three-storey Victorian townhouse. The rear extension features a Red-Rouge Zinc hipped roof, echoing the existing roof forms, with a generous overhang providing shelter and shade for a new veranda.

Inside, the layout was reconfigured to form a new kitchen and dining area with a bespoke garden window. Bi-folding windows and doors were precisely installed to connect the home to the landscaped garden.

The new roofline extends along the north elevation to house a utility room, stepping down to a new party wall with the neighbour. To the south, a patio, raised brick planters, and a Siberian Larch timber-framed garage and workshop complete the scheme — all finished with a high level of workmanship and attention to detail.
