The project involved extensive structural works and high-quality stonework, completed with great attention to detail. Large glazed openings were incorporated to maximise natural light and views into the garden, transforming how the home is used and enjoyed.

The interior of this period property was carefully transformed while retaining its character. A key element was the restoration of the original fireplace stonework, completed in collaboration with Stoneface Construction.

Internally, two rooms were opened up to create a large living space, finished with a bespoke media wall featuring integrated lighting and an electric fire. We also fitted a new kitchen with feature lighting and a central island, remodelled and installed two family bathrooms, and created a practical utility room.

Moor View were the main contractors for our whole house renovation project, managed & scheduled sub contractors and helped to recommend suppliers and other trades. Everything was done efficiently with great organisation and good communication. The team clearly take pride in their considerable skills and engaged with the project with good ideas and a reassuring attitude on resolving the inevitable issues that come with old buildings. Joe and the Moorview team have been just brilliant. Our project to create a kitchen diner in our tired 1950’s house was not without its hidden difficulties along the way and whenever there was a decision to be made Joe and the team have been so helpful and reassuring at each stage. The team always came up with solutions to any problem encountered. We were not the easiest of projects with other works such as windows and underfloor heating also being installed by other companies. And there are always the unforeseen issues! Always reliable and on time. Always leaving the site clean and tidy after each working day. The quality of the work from Moor View Carpentry has been excellent. Joe Fisher and his team have renovated a very tired 1960s bungalow into a modern clean and contemporary home for us. They were always at the site on time every day and were considerate and careful. We would certainly recommend to anyone wanting a professional finished project.

Joe and the team undertook a tricky project to convert a series of upstairs rooms on different levels into a huge open plan living space with a new dormer window and roof light, and to install a new en-suite. The site was very constrained making access with steelwork and a large granite lintel very challenging. They were very flexible with necessary changes to the design due to our last minute structural survey and had good ideas of how to overcome issues. The exterior work was completely in keeping with our 200 year old house and of great quality. Very good communication with us and our neighbours, a tidy and hardworking team and fair, clear pricing for the job. Recommended, and would definitely use them again if required.

Joe and his team went above and beyond on our full house renovation in kingsteignton . From start to finish joe project managed for us and also suggested other ways things could be done, running everything past us and going with what we thought was the best. He was always honest which was really reassuring. Corners were never cut, the job was always done right! His team worked their hardest every day to achieve the results we wanted. And they achieved this and far more! We are so happy with the final house and the changes that have been made, down to the final details. We would highly recommend Moor View Carpentry & Building, the work they carried out on our bungalow is amazing. They are hard working and take pride in everything they do, they have been a pleasure to have around our home.
