The property overlooks the Percuil River from a secluded location nestled in the trees. The sensitive use of a natural green roof and extensive curves throughout the design helps this stunning project to blend with the environment.
The architectural work was done by Lilly Lewarne and the professional team included other local practices MBA (Consulting Engineers) and Wellers (Quantity Surveyors).

This project consisted of twelve stunning apartments in St Ives for high-end developers Acorn Blue.
The building was constructed on the site of a former hotel in the town, and includes extensive terraces and a gated secure parking area. Each owner can use the external shower facilities and a dedicated surf store for beach equipment.
The apartment interiors have the usual impressive Acorn Blue specification levels, including contemporary kitchen units by Leicht with fitted Siemens appliances, Villeroy and Boch sanitary ware in bathrooms and, of course, under floor heating throughout.

This distinctive project involved the construction of a new, extremely energy efficient building to replace a demolished house.
The property is located in a secluded rural location within mature wooded grounds. Working with A-Tec Design, we constructed a home which sets the highest standards in levels of insulation and energy efficiency to approach the level of Passive Housestandards.
The dwelling has no boiler, instead relying entirely on solar hot water and a wood burner (with a back boiler) for all heating needs. Larsen Trusses timber frame construction and double-thickness insulation all help to achieve this exemplary thermal performance.
Tregye Wood is clad with locally grown cedar boarding, and has an innovative green roof consisting of Epiphytic Bromeliads (air plants) which were grown on site prior to the completion of the construction phase.
