Pete completed our two storey extension in the time scale he proposed and inline with his quote. We always knew what was happening each week and Pete managed other contractors well to keep the project flowing. The work area was always left tidy, secure and most importantly weather proof. From listening to a design concept in my head, PDB Builders quickly visualised the requirement and suggested practical adjustments before providing an extremely competitive quote. The lead time was about 2-3 months. As promised, PDB Builders began work on the agreed date and were quick to make progress. Despite challenges sourcing raw materials due to the pandemic, Peter was constantly trying different suppliers to get hold of the required timber, plaster and windows. He adjusted his plan to accommodate delays in deliveries and the whole project completed within the expected timeframe. Having knocked through an external wall, Peter ensured that the building was secured from the inside and always left the site extremely tidy. The work we had done was a single storey extension with lantern roof for a kitchen. He also reconfigured internal layout downstairs to make a spacious open plan living area with separate utility room. We are extremely pleased with the results.
