Rick and his team at Prime Buildings & Developments Limited recently built our single-storey kitchen/diner extension, removed two original supporting walls, and fitted the new kitchen. We’d been a little anxious about the risks of taking down internal walls, but their experience and organised approach made everything feel safe, well-planned, and expertly managed.
From the outset, Rick provided a detailed quotation and kept us fully informed at every stage. The team were reliable, professional, and worked to a very high standard, with excellent communication and a friendly, positive “can-do” attitude. They also dealt efficiently with Building Control and the structural engineers.

Rick and the guys from Prime B&D have recently finished a 2 storey side extension for me. (Spring 2025)
The quality of work was really good, if I noticed anything from day to day they were always happy to adjust or perfect things. And in most cases anything I flagged up was already on their ‘to-do’ list.
Two things which I was very pleased with were the amount of honest, simple and clear communication I had day to day with the guys on site about process and progress. As well as their ability to get along with and keep my neighbours happy during the build.
The organisation between the trades was excellent. Rick did a great job of making sure everything went very smoothly. And the costs relative to the level of effort, quality and speed of work definitely felt like good value for money.

Rick and his team were super efficient and their workmanship was of the highest quality. Rick organised the delivery and collection of the skip, took out my old kitchen in no time, liaised with the suppliers of the new one on my behalf and even arranged for an electrician to come round and upgrade the electrical wiring needed for my new pyrolytic oven. Not only this, he even cut out the window sill when I asked him to last minute, after discovering that Algarve Granite wouldn’t do this a couple of days before they came to fit the new quartz worktop and window sill. Would highly recommend!

Thanks to Prime our extension was completed on the time it was predicted and with some nice extras supported and no cost which was kind and helped us out. Rick and the lads never had a moan and seemed upbeat on their work and ethics meaning I could leave them all day at the house without issue. Nice local firm
