Having spent around 12 months vetting building firms, asking locally for recommendations and views on each firm, narrowing our selection to one, deciding on a builder was something we weren't prepared to take lightly. This is our home, something for the family to enjoy for the rest of our lives. It has to be right!
Finding R J Byrne Construction for our project in Birkdale has been well worth the time we had taken in finding the right firm for the job. We couldn't be happier. My husband and I thought we had asked for too much from the design team and would it actually be able to be built!? To our relief it seemed another day at the office for the management team handling our project, echoed by the staff on site. We know this was not a straight forward build, even with our 130 year old building, any issues it could give us were handled by the team. Thank you to all who played a part. Had several projects completed by Rob and the team ranging from installing new uPVC windows into existing brick walls, removing internal supporting walls and installing steel work, installation of new internal doors, constructing new block walls, casting new concrete floors, fence erection, external reinforced concrete base, ground works and drainage, new front door installed and most recently constructing a 5 x 5m ground floor extension from scratch and replacing roof to the front of a house to blend it in. Work is always completed in time and on budget. All the workers are knowledgeable and experienced with support staff available for any inquires. of work is excellent and no complaints. Will continue to use Rob on future projects.

Being a project manager for 25 years and R J Byrne starting around the same time, I’m disappointed I didn’t meet them earlier in my career, I may have fewer grey hairs if I had!
