Extension and renovation of a much loved 1960s bungalow.

A sympathetic retro look was the brief supplied by our very determined client .

The design process involved input from Architects, Engineers, myself and the client.

We removed the roof from the original garage and extended out over the internal yard. Removed 4 internal walls, formed new openings, installed 2 sets of patio doors, and a large corner picture window.

Formed a new utility area, new roof over garage, utility area and front porch.

We also added cladded to the flower beds and porch in Birch.

The kitchen was fitted with a large lantern roof window.

New heating system, rewired and replasted.

The front of the house was to remain unchanged apart from a new up stand to hide Structural steelwork, roof and lantern window that had been installed.
