We made this mock coffin alongside some other theatre props for a great production of 'Oliver' by the Just for Fun theatre group in Boston Spa. After it was finished, we thought why let it go to waste… so, it’s now a drinks cabinet!
It might not be to everyone’s taste, but we think it’s great.

Here’s a fun Bespoke Joinery job that will make all the lego fans jealous! I was recently asked by a lovely repeat customer to build a custom shelving unit in their new house.
The intention was to display lots of Lego models of all shapes and sizes, but the location was awkwardly tucked in the corner of an office that had a protruding step and was used by the previous owners as a gym with fixed wall mirrors.
The customer drew approximately what they needed, and following lots of discussions as the work progressed, we think we did a pretty good job of bringing the idea to life!
We covered the back mirrored wall and built a timber frame storage cupboard around the step. The mdf shelving was then tiered and corners rounded off, as well as being measured to exactly fit the assorted display cases.

This job came to us through a family recommendation, and it turned into a great transformation for a fantastic couple. They wanted to divide their L-shaped kitchen/dining area to create a separate home office/snug that the whole family could use.
After chatting through their ideas, we agreed a pocket door system was the best choice to maximise space, with the door sliding neatly into the wall. We also created a new window opening to bring in extra light, and thanks to the customer’s research, we were able to source an exact match for their original windows.
The work included:
New downlights in the kitchen
Re-plastering affected areas
Second fix joinery
A beautiful Howdens glazed oak door

Thanks to an introduction from Howdens Sherburn in Elmet, we were invited to quote for this project — and what a difference it’s made!
Our lovely client inherited some old, poorly functioning sliding wardrobes when they bought their home, and were ready for a modern upgrade. We installed these stunning Howdens Halesworth Sage Green wardrobes, along with a bespoke dressing unit built perfectly into the window bay to make the most of the space.
A great job for a genuinely lovely couple — and we definitely got our steps in working up on the 3rd floor!

This was a lovely project for a couple in Clifford, #wetherby. Their old sunroom was close to falling down and hardly usable, so we removed it and built a brand new timber-framed structure with exterior brickwork to match the house.
With added Velux Windows to bring in lots of natural light, the new space is now perfect for relaxing, reading, crafting, or simply taking in the garden views all year round.
The unused space has been transformed from a worn-out room into a great practical addition that really enhances and adds value to the property.

Crafted and fitted bespoke #oakworktops and shelving,
Added a custom shelving unit above the worktop,
Laid stunning engineered #oakflooring to complete the look.
The result? A workspace that feels warm, stylish, and practical – perfect for productivity while keeping a relaxed atmosphere.

This job included:
Fitting fresh skirtings around the room and fireplace.
Installing a beautiful oak window board to complete the look of some new windows.
It was a tricky one – everything had to be a perfect fit to the window and walls with no cover moulding to hide behind. We created a precise template, crafted the #oak to match, and returned for a flawless installation.
