This project was our first large disabled access adaptation for our client, The design and work was centred around the needs of our client by a specialist Architect. This included a full refurbishment, construction of two extensions, a lift installation, separate carer accommodation and external landscaping to allow level thresholds. This project opened our eyes to the difficulties and struggles disabled people can face. When disability strikes, it impacts not only the person immediately affected but the whole family unit. The challenge for us was to understand the needs of our client and her family. We then needed to interpret those requirements into bespoke solutions. Much time was invested in meeting the client, family and the specialists supporting the family to ensure the construction fully met her needs and expectations. This was a very rewarding project for us. It demonstrated our flexibility and commitment to make a difference as a company.

Jon and Lorna dreamed of transforming their 1960’s house into a modern and uplifting home. Our in-house Architect produced the proposed plans which was unprecedented in the immediate area. Modern construction techniques were combined with the highest quality materials including composite cladding and white silicone render which is maintenance free and suitable for properties located near the seafront and requires no future painting. The signature of the property was the stunning double-height glazed centre section which poured light onto the stairs, first floor landing and ground floor. Inside Beach Green is just as striking as the outside. The ground floor boasted a further lounge area and luxurious open plan spaces. Family life became generously supported by a new first floor bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and a further garage. The overall result of the project was a stunning modern and environmentally friendly home, which won the admiration of local residents.

After closing their restaurant, Nick and Sarunya were looking for the best solution for their commercial property. They were looking for an investment which would provide a financial return. Our in-house architect proposed the concept of converting the restaurant into three flats. Following a detailed planning process, we achieved approval to go ahead with the three residential units. We carried out a number of structural layout changes to make 2 units to the ground floor nd one larger to the first. The fabric was stripped back to the basic shell. Most of the floors and windows were replaced, a new roof was installed which included applying special waterproofing to the walls to prevent any further damp issues.
A grand entrance was created by adding traditional Georgian solid wood double doors. The interiors were finished with bespoke joinery and traditional detailing, including custom made wood sash windows to reflect the original windows of that period.
