This was an exterior overhaul, we installed a new porch along with new windows, guttering and tudor cladding. On this occasion we did not do the rendering as the client had already spoken to another contractor and lined this up prior to our first visit.

Delighted with the result. This was probably a small project for Silk Services, creating a couple of off-street parking spaces, but it was complex due to the site levels and mix of new and re-used materials. Jason Silk impressed me from the start, with his understanding of the project and approach to the various works required. Although their price was slightly higher than some competitors I have no regrets about getting Silk Services to do the works. The various tradesmen, either directly employed or sub-contractors, were all excellent and the finished works turned out exactly as I hoped. We have had many complimentary comments from neighbours. The works were done in October, November and December so the weather was sometimes not kind but the guys worked around this as best they could. I had used Silk for some smaller jobs in the past, with satisfactory results, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or to use them again.

We found Silk Services through personal recommendation and were not disappointed. It was a complicated residential project that demanded a variety of skills with the restoration and upgrading of an existing part of the house, and a newly built extension that had to work with the existing. Silk had to work within the constraints of a listed building and certain requirements from the planning department, together with our (the clients) strong idea of the aesthetic we wanted to achieve. The team was always courteous and considerate of our needs as we continued to live in the house during the works. When unexpected issues did arise we felt there was clear communication as to the issues at hand and we were happy to trust the recommendations given. We were very happy with the quality of workmanship and working with a friendly team really helped us get through the project.

I had three new bathrooms and a downstairs loo installed. All employees of Silk Services produced excellent work and it was a pleasure to have them in the house. Quotes were given prior to any work and adhered to. The installation of the new bathrooms was quick and smooth and the team, plumbers, electricians, carpenters, tilers all worked seamlessly.
