The Client asked us to modernise this surgery, the clinicians were very exacting with their requirements for storage and their desire to have multiple sinks to aid their workflow. The suction equipment needed to be housed in its own unit and they wanted full size touch opening bins.
Project: Refit existing Surgery with Gloss Anthracite Cabinetry from the Kabinets range with a Glacier white worksurface with double sink for the Nurse. Plenty of drawer storage was requested by the clinician o we delivered. The dental chair was only a few years old so was removed and refitted, we replaced the services to ensure they would last if the new surgery before fitting the new wood effect flooring. The Client asked us to help them to increase their service provision and to improve their workflow. The practice had a large surgery on the first floor with a lot of wasted space. There was an OPG machine which was old, and little used in a small adjacent room.
Project: To Split the surgery into two to create a Dental surgery, a separate hygienist surgery and a decontamination room. All building works, Flooring, Electrics, Plumbing, Cabinetry, Corian work tops, Paint and decoration completed by SSD Building. Equipment supplied and fitted by Henry Schein.

The Client, a leading cosmetic Dentist specialising in Implants and cosmetic dentistry asked us to help design and build a high-end Surgery with a relaxing atmosphere for patients. Particularly important to this was to hide away the specialist equipment, but still leave it accessible. A private lab adjoining the surgery needed better storage and a more ergonomic working area.
Project: To refit the surgery with bespoke storage units from the “Kabinets” range of dental cabinetry finished in Gloss Japanese pear. A bespoke side unit was created to house the equipment in pull out units with glass doors to hide the AV equipment but still enable the remotes to function. Finally, it was decided to add colour change LED lighting at plinth level and daylight white Led under cabinet lighting. The upstands were cleverly lit with integrated LED lighting to give a low level bright white surface light for the clinician but enabling the room to stay calmer and more relaxing for the patient. All building works, Flooring, Electrics, Plumbing, Cabinetry, Corian work tops and feature lighting.
