This job was due to multiple different factors, a cracked window, replacing timber windows with uPVC, soakaway's not working and overloading the loft. We investigated the route cause, stripped the room back to brick, insulating it and adding a ceiling capable of taking load if they wanted to use the loft in future for storage. Externally we added heavy duty 9" lintel above the window and rebricked around it using matching sand.

The new room will be warm and energy efficient. Farrow & Ball paint sets the tones for a warm and welcoming space.

The pillar and wall outside the property had been damaged by a car. The customer called us for a quote which was approved by the insurance company. The customer had their own person to remove the railings so we took that off the quote.

We dismantled the wall carefully because we were reusing the bricks. We sourced some additional imperial size bricks from a local reclamation yard then rebuilt the pillar.
