He managed to achieve the impossible by coming in on budget and quicker thanexpected – completing the work in 5 weeks, when the estimation was 6-8 - and all thiswhilst him and his team worked through the snow! James has been extremely professional throughout and just as importantly very detailoriented – always being one step ahead of what was needed, which is so important inany project like this. The work has been of the highest standard – James and his crew ever professional,dedicated and kept the place very clean which was so important as we were livingthrough this build on site. There were no financial surprises and the only extras were those we had discussed andknew about already. Throughout the build James was quick to accommodate any newthoughts we had, and helpful in suggesting the best way to do something. James recently built a garage/games room for us. He was very efficient and had helpful ideas to contribute on design etc. He worked with us to keep the project within our budget and completed it in the expected timeframe. We would have no hesitation in using him again or recommending his work to others. We have also previously used him for a double storey extension and were equally pleased with his work on that.

We had multiple quotes for a 4 metre rear kitchen / dining room extension along with a pantry and cloakroom but we knew straight away from meeting James at Upwards and Outwards that he was the man for the job. James was courteous and professional and offered great advice throughout, often going above and beyond our expectations. The site was always tidy secure and James made sure we had working facilities throughout. The quality of the work was fantastic and the trades brought in were all friendly, knowledgeable and honest. We are really pleased with Upwards and Outwards and I will definitely be using them again in the future.

James and his team completed an extensive 2 storey extension. We were very pleased with the outcome and suggestions made throughout improved the original design. They were considerate towards our neighbours and worked around us living in property throughout the build maintaining access to the oven tower and washing machine despite a complete rebuild downstairs. We were impressed by quality of build and would use again.
