This used to be three separate spaces: kitchen, hallway and a living space..  the kitchen was very small and unwelcoming, the living space was tucked away at the back of the house and used more like a storage room and the hallway needs no explanation.
Modern day living has made the kitchen the hub of many a home, it’s the life a soul where many of our daily activities take place.  Making it a place where you can be with your family and guests while entertaining is the best way to bring everyone together.

Its a process, as with most things it's the detail that counts. This old Victorian property had not been loved for some time.
The timber was moist as the air vents had been blocked, the floor was a unable to breath, the soil was too close to the joist and the brick piers had all collapsed, it was like walking on a trampoline.
This used to be two separate rooms, just look at what can be achieved.
