Willmac Group was contracted to carry out the groundworks and build for a private development project near Ruthin. Given that the foundations for the new structure were located close to an existing building, it was crucial for groundworks to proceed with caution. This type of work typically requires careful planning and execution to avoid disturbing or damaging the adjacent structure. Challenges included ensuring the stability of the existing building, managing soil conditions, and maintaining safety standards throughout the project. The close proximity of the new foundations to the existing structure necessitated reinforcement methods to mitigate any risks.
