Our Grittleton project involved the construction of a new oak-framed porch for a charming rural property. The oak frame sits on beautifully crafted Cotswold stone walls, built using traditional lime mortar techniques.

Externally, we used reclaimed roof tiles and carefully matched the cladding to ensure the new structure blended seamlessly with the existing property. Inside, the porch features exposed rafters, natural oak window boards, and limestone flooring with an integrated floor mat, combining traditional craftsmanship with a high-quality, timeless finish.

As a second stage to this project, we built a rear extension to create a new snug area for our clients. Externally, the extension features Cotswold natural stone laid with traditional lime mortar, complemented by stone quoins and reclaimed roof tiles to blend seamlessly with the existing property. Inside, exposed oak king post trusses, a striking stone feature wall, and warm oak flooring create a cosy and characterful space.

Our Bath townhouse project involved the renovation and extension of a beautiful period property in the heart of Bath. The work included extensive restoration of the existing structure, featuring traditional lime plastering, the refurbishment of original Bath stone walls, and structural timber repairs to the floors.

To the rear of the property, we extended the footprint to create a spacious open-plan kitchen and dining area. The extension was constructed using Bath stone blocks, complemented by cast iron guttering to remain in keeping with the surrounding architecture.

We also fully landscaped the garden, introducing new tiered areas designed to suit the homeowners’ needs and enhance their outdoor living space.

This elegant rear extension in Christian Malford has been thoughtfully conceived to transform the existing property, creating a light-filled and generous open-plan living space tailored for modern entertaining. The design carefully enhances the flow between indoor and outdoor environments, with an impressive 5-metre expanse of glazed doors opening seamlessly onto the garden. The result is a sophisticated yet welcoming setting, perfect for hosting family and guests while maximising natural light and views of the landscaped exterior.
