The construction industry is a brilliant and varied sector to work in. Its people are its greatest asset. But we know that construction has some long-standing challenges to overcome. Whether its skills shortages in particular trades, an aging workforce and too few young people coming into the profession from school, or a failure to attract people from a diverse range of backgrounds into the trades.
This session the panelist explored initiatives to empower and attract diverse talent into the sector, and the success stories of those individuals and organisations committed to supporting construction’s exciting future. How can the whole industry learn to empower its people better and make sure it’s as relevant and attractive as it can be?
