How to make your projects stand out
- Choose wisely – Highlight projects that are relevant to your target customers. Use clear, concise titles (e.g. Two-storey extension) and keep descriptions brief (up to 30 words is ideal). Focus on projects that demonstrate your skills and expertise.
- Use great images – High-quality photos showcase your work best. You can also include key project details, such as increased space or reduced energy costs, to highlight impact.
- Protect your clients’ privacy – Always obtain permission before using client images. Do not include any photos or text that identify the property or personal details (e.g. client names, faces, or vehicle registration numbers).
- Leverage customer reviews – Encourage happy clients to leave testimonials. You can easily request and display feedback through the website (Request a client review) or FMB app.
How to add a project
It's easy to do via the FMB website or app:
- On the FMB website – go to ‘Add a New Project’.
- In the FMB app – select ‘Profile’ from the main menu, then go to ‘Projects’.
Then simply:
- Give your project a clear title.
- Add the location (town name only).
- Write a brief description - up to 30 words is perfect.
- Upload high-quality, well-lit photos that clearly showcase your work.
Remember: Always get client permission before sharing images.
