Annual Report 2021-2022_Cover.PNG

The past year has brought with it many opportunities to celebrate quality building, from reflecting on the FMB's history as we celebrated our 80th anniversary to rewarding the hard work of our members through the Master Builder Awards.

In September 2021, we marked the FMB's 80th anniversary with a Parliamentary Reception, which provided a much-needed moment of celebration and a chance to reconnect with members and guests in person following the challenges of COVID-19 lockdowns in the previous year. In the same month, we hosted our national Master Builder Awards ceremony, which was streamed live on the FMB website offering a chance for members, sponsors, and guests to tune in across the UK for 90 minutes of entertainment and live winner interaction.

In the past year, we have continued to give members a strong voice, increased our engagement with members, and introduced a new bespoke health and safety support service for our members. We're also pleased to report that 100% of our members have now been independently inspected.

As we look to the future, we will continue to campaign for the issues that matter most to our members and will support them to navigate changes in the industry. In particular, as energy prices continue to rise, the importance of the retrofit agenda and FMB members' role in delivering it will not fade.
