What’s changing with regards to Building Regulations and how will you be affected?

Some elements of Building regulations are changing in England on 15 June 2022. These changes are stop-gap measures to improve energy efficiency in housing regulations ahead of the Future Homes and Buildings Standards introduction in 2025, which will require more significant cuts to carbon emissions.

The aim of these measures is to make the changes in 2025 less severe for builders and also to help cut carbon emissions in the meantime. The changes will focus on energy efficiency improvements, ventilation, as well as introducing new overheating protection measures.

In this webinar our host Jeremy Gray, FMB Head of Policy and Public Affairs is joined by Lee Galley from RISA, who focuses on changes affecting windows and door installations and how they will be implemented from a practical standpoint. He is also joined by John Askew, a Regulatory Specialist at LABC (Local Authority Building Control).
