Commercial contracts are for projects where your client is a commercial business, corporation or organisation. They set out responsibilities, timelines and payments clearly, and help reduce the risk of disputes.

For projects without a Project Manager and where you don’t need a defects stage payment. A simple straightforward contract.
Commercial building contract with defects stage payment
For projects without a Project Manager, but where you do want a defects stage payment to cover snagging or remedial work.

For projects where a Project Manager has been appointed to oversee the work, but a defects stage payment isn't required.

Commercial building contract - cost plus

For use where a builder, acting as the main contractor, makes an agreement with a subcontractor to carry out part of the work.
