We have extensive knowlege and experience in installing false work and propping buildings while we make major structural alterations. Extension over garage

Brief
To extend the property at first floor level over the garage, creating two extra bedrooms and a bathroom. To also change the flat roof elevation to a pitched roof. 
(The client already had full architect drawings, planning permission and a clear picture of the fixtures, fitting and finishes required).
What we did
The first stage involved removing the garage roof and installing the steel work and supporting piers needed to carry the cavity walls. The brickwork then went up and the suspended floor was installed and the roof cut and covered in. The entire extension was watertight before breaking into the main house.
The partition walls and new corridor were then built and first fix electrics and plumbing installed. The rooms were then boarded and plastered and underfloor heating laid in the bathroom before the floor could be tiled.
New bathroom units were installed and laminate flooring was fitted in the new bedrooms and other rooms in the house.
A new central heating system was installed and the hallway was re-skimmed and the 70’s open-back staircase was altered before decorating all the newly created areas.
Results
This job was scheduled to take three months and despite the additional works required by our client we finished the whole project on time.
Our client’s home has been considerably improved to a very high standard and a large master bedroom and luxury bathroom created. The second bedroom became a large home office and the old office became a music room. The market value of the property has also increased significantly.

Loft Conversion, Jack and Jill Bathroom

Brief
To design, gain planning approval and build an extension to create a first bathroom. Other associated work to include the installation of a new boiler and bathroom suit and to tile, lay flooring and decorate.
What We Did
Working closely with our client we designed the exact size and layout of the extension, producing drawings and gaining relevant permissions.  The first task involved re-routing existing pipework and cabling and ensuring safety regulations were met.
Scaffolding was erected to enable access to the roof and this was then stripped before the floor was installed and the dorma walls built. After knocking through into the existing house we ensured all areas were watertight before fitting the first fix electrics and new boiler.
We created the openings, plastered and fixed skirting and doors before making alterations to the ceilings in the existing bedrooms. A major part of this project was the installation of a high-end bathroom suit and floor to ceiling tiling.
Results
The result was a brand new luxury bathroom featuring a bath, separate shower and counter top basin. The new, efficient boiler gave much improved central heating and hot water and the extension also created an extra room on the ground floor. As a result, the exterior has been improved and the value of the property increased.
