Blake Builders Ltd are well-established, general building contractors based in North London. Our work is mainly domestic, mixed with some commercial projects, and we specialise in high end refurbishments and new build projects. We are adaptable, progressive and welcome any challenging new projects.
Since being established we have consistently grown in both the size and complexity of the projects that we carry out. Our projects typically range in value from £400k to £3 Million.
Our 30 plus years of experience in the building industry have given us a complete understanding of every aspect of the build process. We pride ourselves in being traditional, hands-on builder, with a pro-active, positive method of working, we strive to maintain a practical, sensible approach to achieving a final successful project.
We also put great effort into post-contract matters, unlike many building firms, and deal with any issues efficiently and as quick as possible; we realise that it is the small issues that concern clients on a project and so we give these the same level of attention as any other aspect of the project.
All our work is generally under standard RIBA contracts, we carry full contractors all risks liability cover and our track record shows no building works claims.
We have a good body of sub-contractors, many whom have worked with us for over a decade. Our workshops and joinery are continually expanding & becoming involved with more specialist contracts.
As members of the National House building Council ( NHBC) for 19 years, we built many unusual and challenging houses over the years. In that time we have had no claims against any of the work we have completed.
We are also long standing members of the Federation of Master builders (FMB) for 20+ years, again with no complaints or faults reported in this time.
We work throughout London and the surrounding areas.
