Company Profile We are a family run company trading for the last thirty years. We have grown over the years to a company that now has a turnover exceeding £3 million employing over 35 employees. We are committed to reinvesting back into the community and industry are an equal opportunities employer employing local staff and local suppliers wherever possible. Based at Wyke in Bradford on the edge of the M62 this makes for quick and easy access to the whole of the Yorkshire and Lancashire regions although projects completed as far away as Glasgow and London are not unknown. We have completed many projects of various sizes from small house extensions domestic re-roofing schools hospitals to multi-million pound retail and office parks. Working with a wide variety of roofing materials including; slates from the Welsh quarries Westmoreland Brazilian Spanish and Canadian slates. We also work closely with all the major tile manufacturers (LaFarge Marley Eternit Russell etc.) undertaking projects in a wide range of their materials. The company presently works for most of the local councils and major building contractors. Last year we re-roofed the former victorian Royal Infirmary in Halifax which was converted into 169 dwellings worked on sheltered accommodation complexes schools and museums. We have also established ourselves as a respected historical renovation contractor being a member of the Heritage Building Contractors Group (UK). Currently our expertise is being used on the "Unlocking of the John Ryland Library" on Deansgate in Manchester. Also at Headley Hall in Thornton we are acting as principal contractor on a Grade I English Heritage project (re-slating one of the oldest barns in Bradford). It has always been a company policy to recruit an apprentice every year. We are an active member of Yorkshire Independent Roofing Training Group and represent this group on the CITB's Occupational Working Group on Slating and Tiling. The company is has been accredited "Investors in People" status. Health and Safety is a major consideration of this company and a member of West and North Yorkshire Safety Advisory Association. Over eighty percent of our on site staff hold CSCS cards outlining their qualifications. We initiated this long before the Major Contractors Group started their drive.
