In 1988 Chris Lyle Plastering & Property Maintenance began in Bristol. After moving to Cornwall almost 20 years ago, Chris began to learn about local building techniques and procedures and gained qualifications and experience in other trades.
Now based on the Devon/Cornwall border in Callington and with a team of well qualified and accomplished tradesmen, CL Building Services cover the entirety of the two counties for all of its construction, renovation and refurbishment needs.
We are very pleased to be approved by numerous organizations including the Federation of Master Builders, RTS and more.
Recently we became a certified plasterer from British Gypsum, the UK's leading manufacturer of interior lining systems. With this certification, we are able to offer a two-year guarantee on plastering works. This guarantee is underwritten by British Gypsum and is a testament to the quality of their products and our service.

We have recently moved into the area and found it quite difficult to find good tradesmen to do some work for us. CL building services were recommended to us. We needed plastering done and a bathroom fitted.Chris who owns the business came out and quoted for the work and gave us dates for work to be done. The plasterers arrived (Mark,Chris jnr and Sean) and completed the work on time, they were very professional in there attitude and extremely polite and courteous.everything was cleaned up when they finished. The bathroom fitting started on time as stated and Chris jnr let us know straight away a timescale of how the work would be done so that we were not without toilet etc for more than a couple of hours.We were away whilst the bath and tiling were completed and received updates and pictures as it progressed.
