About us:
E.O. Jones and Sons are a small family run building company based in Essex with over 50 years’ experience. The company has worked for many large organisations including Madame Tussauds, Anglian Water and the Tarmac Group. We have also worked with lots of respected architects including the award-winning Alison Brooks in London.
As a company based in a rural location, we are very aware of our environment and strive to recycle as much of our waste as possible, anything that can’t be recycled is disposed of responsibly.
We also work within the health and safety guidelines to ensure ourselves and our customers are as safe as possibly during any jobs we undertake.

This project was a full Eco refurbishment and thermal retrofit of two properties designed to meet the EnerPHit Passivhaus standard.
The key focus of this project for the Owner was to achieve high levels of energy efficiency resulting in lower Energy costs and a reduction in the Carbon Footprint.
The project involved using sustainable building products and finishes, to achieve a comfortable and environmentally friendly living space.
This was an extremely successful project, and the properties high energy performance results evidence the care we took over the implementation of the complex areas of Eco renovation work, to achieve two outstanding modernised properties, now with very low energy costs.
