G Banks has undertaken many machine bases over the last sixty years. Ranging from large JIB crane bases to very large industrial bases for dynamics machine in the steel, aerospace and petro chemical industries.
G Banks were contracted to design and build a prestigious development, the ‘Star in the City’ restaurant foundations next to the river Ouse in York. The production involved very restricted access, mini piling works and reinforced concrete foundations. This enabled the river when in flood to go underneath the restaurant.
G Banks Ltd were contracted as the main contractor in the provision of 3 Hydrogen Refuelling Stations.
G Banks were contracted as the main contractor to build a new industrial unit. The works undertaken involved the construction of a new retaining wall, pad and groundbeams foundations. The erection of a steel frame, brick work, cladding, joinery and surfacing works.
G Banks were contracted to undertake the foundations for a large club hose facility for Harrogate Rugby Club. The work included mass excavation, reinforced concrete foundations, wall tanking, block work and power float slab.
G Banks undertook the role as a main contractor. Undertaking piled reinforced foundations, steel portal frame, cladding, roofing, block work and surfacing works.
