This project is ongoing and was inspected on behalf of FMB by the inspection company the BBA

The project consists of a single storey rear extension. The new extension has been covered with a pitched interlocking concrete tiled roof incorporating six velux windows and insulated with 150mm PIR.

The walls are constructed of traditional brick and block 100mm cavity insulated with full fill cavity batts externally finished with facing brick to match existing property, built on a strip foundation 1mx600 with a solid concrete floor slab insulated with150mm PIR.

New drainage has been connected and block paving is being laid.

Internally a large steel ridge beam has been inserted through to the full height windows which will be installed, first fix electrical and plumbing works are underway ready for walls to be plaster boarded
