A contemporary and characterful conversion of a 19th century stable, providing 2 bed residential accommodation over two floors. The design purposely retained as much of the existing masonry as possible, with two side flank elevations remaining largely unchanged from the exterior. The lead clad dormers reduce the visual impact on the roof, while providing much needed head room in the attic. The side extension was deliberately sympathetic to the existing building, using either reclaimed and locally sourced Bath stone.
