At MJS Construction Group Ltd we like to focus on the customer, providing flexibility and a willingness to adapt.

We work hard as a team of builders, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, roofers, plasterers and general labourers, specialising in building extensions, converting lofts and garages, and renovating or refurbishing homes.

Ambitious building projects can be demanding, but we enjoy a challenge and with our meticulous attention to detail, we go out of our way to ensure our work is always completed to a very high standard.

We also never cut corners and like to see a job through, so nothing is too much trouble. In fact, as our customers watch their projects unfold, many of them come back to us with additional requests.

Our specialisms

We specialise in larger building jobs, combining our skills and experience to manage the projects from start to finish.

Some of our customers already know what they want; they’ve had the plans drawn up and contact us when they’re ready to get an estimate of the costs involved with a view to getting the ball rolling as soon as possible.

Others contact us looking for ideas and we are more than happy to recommend an architect or designer who can assist with the required plans and drawings. This is usually the first step before moving forward with the project.

Training

Our team combines their years of experience and qualifications to deliver work that is second to none. However, they also like to stay up to date with modern building techniques and will attend training courses as and when necessary.

Some of our team attended a course in EPDM rubber roofing systems, which has given us the ability to offer customers alternative roofing solutions that are made from durable synthetic rubber, giving a life expectancy of 50 years.

Our step-by-step approach

From the moment you contact us, we can help you through every stage of the project.

1. After receiving your initial enquiry, we will coordinate with you to ensure you have the appropriate plans and building regulations in place. We can recommend an architect to assist you with this if required.
   
   
2. Once we’ve checked you have everything necessary, we will work out a date with you to set up a site visit.
   
   
3. Following on from the site visit, we will send you a personalised quote with a detailed breakdown of each stage of the project.
   
   
4. On acceptance of the quote, we will coordinate with you to book your job start date.
