Below are the pictures of the extension which we completed in the spring/summer 2016, over a period of thirteen weeks.
Project was completed with a small one week delay due to the weather, however on budget and with great approbate of the building control inspectors, and most importantly the clients.
Before we could start building, existing back extension, and part of the garage had to be knocked down and rebuild, due to a subsidence issue, caused by unsuitable foundations, remedial work took a couple of weeks, and thereafter we were able to get on properly with the build.
We succeeded in finding excellent match for the existing bricks, and roof tiles, the extension looks like it was always there.
There were three steel RSJ's that went in preparation for internal walls removal, to create open plan kitchen and dining.
We achieved very high thermal efficiency thanks to very well insulated walls, floor and roof.
We have fitted new windows, completed all the electrics, installed a new combi boiler, prepared and moved the relevant connections for the new kitchen, installed countless spotlights, plaster boarded and skimmed new walls and ceilings, installed all the architraves, skirting boards, and coving, fitted the new kitchen and finally completed the front paving.
All in all: Fast, Reliable and Professional.
